How We Help

We believe that getting the right psychological support that is evidence based and is delivered by highly experienced Clinicians, is vital in guiding Emergency Service workers in their recovery from their trauma.

Self-Referral

We understand that seeking help can sometimes feel overwhelming, this is why we have made a quick and easy self referral process. The only criteria being that:

  • There has been a decline in your mental health due to experiencing one or more traumatic incident(s).

  • 4 weeks must have elapsed since the traumatic incident(s).

  • You are not currently actively suicidal or self-harming or had a recent hospital admission for mental health concerns.

Assessment

Our dedicated team comprises of compassionate professionals who deeply care about your well-being.  That's why our approach is centered on empathy and support, ensuring that you feel heard and understood throughout the assessment.

You will undergo an assessment by one of our Associate Clinicians, who will then serve as your dedicated professional throughout your journey with Blue Light Minds.
